People with abdominal obesity
are twice as likely to have diabetes as those who are not obese
in their abdominal region. (August 2003)
If a patient is undergoing growth hormone treatment to slow down aging for obesity,
make sure to show him/her their body composition results before and after the
treatment.
InBody’ s results show the patient the amount of muscle and the percent body fat
in their body at the time of the test. The test will clearly show the changes
in an individual’s body composition resulting from the hormone treatment that
individual has undergone.
